Born Kameron David Weaver or Kam for short on June 28, 1985 in Brooklyn.
At 23 he is the baby of the four kids in the Weaver family
He and his brother Silas have their moments where they are close but there are times where they are constantly at each other's throats which as you can imagine is a source of tension in the Weaver household.
He discovered a love of music from a very young age and begged for a guitar for over a year before his parents finally caved and bought him one for his seventh birthday. He was a very quick learner and a born performer. He would put on little shows for anyone that would give them even a few minutes of their time.
One of his oldest and closest friends is Kennedi Brennan. They lived next door to each other growing up and she would always be the one subjected to the majority of his little shows that he would put on. Not that she minded since to this day she is still his biggest fan.
He'll probably never admit it out loud but he actually has an absolutely amazing singing voice but it always came second to playing guitar.
He is a nerd at heart and actually made pretty decent grades in school. However he could have made MUCH better grades if he had bothered to apply himself.
His sophomore year in high school he met Jason Griffin in music class and they pretty much immediately best friends and inseparable. They were constantly getting kicked out of class for goofing off and enjoyed every minute of it.
When he was sixteen he got in with a group of seniors that were forming a band that they named Sarcastic Truth.
They played shows all over New York City for the next two years and were eventually spotted by an executive for a small independant label that offered them a record deal.
They put out their debut album in 2003 soon after Kam and Jason graduated from high school.
The band really hit it big in 2005 getting signed to and releasing their second album on a major record label. The band is now world famous and have been touring all over the world which he had always only dreamed of doing.
While on the road in June of 2006 Jason got a call that his parents had been tragically killed in a car accident. This hit the rest of the band pretty hard too Kam especially since he had always viewed the Griffins as another family. The band canceled a week's worth of shows and flew back to NYC with Jason for the funeral.
They went back on the road with a fill-in drummer after the time was up. They released their third album last year.
As of late May of this year after nearly two years on the road they finally came off the the road to record their fourth album and take a much needed break.discography
